About Annapurna Breakfast (Annapurna Base Camp from Kathmandu) Annapurna is one of the most popular mountainous regions of Nepal. It is equally popular as the Everest region. They both have the same charm and yet are very distinct in their own ways. The Annapurna range has some of the most beautiful mountains like Mt. fishtail. Mt. Annapurna, Mt Annapurna II, Mt Dhaulagiri and many more. The region is full of green lush gardens and is well known for its flora and fauna and also the high mountains. The “Gurung” people are the native of this region and have been for about 200 years. They worship the almighty Mt Annapurna and believe it to be the goddess of harvest because its glaciers and rivers help irrigate the region making the fields bloom and vibrant. Besides, the Gurung people are also known for providing brave soldiers called Gorkha to the British Army as well as the Indian Army. Overall, the Annapurna region is a wonderful mixture of culture, flora and fauna and of course the mighty Annapurna ranges that makes this region so popular and one of the most visited regions of Nepal.
