Langtang
The Langtang Valley is one of the wildest and most scenic areas in Nepal with great forests of rhododendron trees, conifers on the more gradual slopes, and high alpine yak pastures. At its center, in Langtang village, are the local Sherpa and Tamang communities renowned for their welcoming hospitality. This area is also famous for their beautiful monasteries, the shrines, and of course its stunning mountain range. Along this route, we also spot a variety of wildlife such as mountain goats, deer, and birds. As we descend to Ghoda Tabela, keep your eye out to spot the rare red panda and some wild boars. The botanical life is also abundant and the mountain peaks of Ganesh, Langtang and Jugal Himalaya keep us company here. They are the most accessible ranges from, Kathmandu, and popular with trekkers on account of this proximity.
