It is one of the finest tours planned for anyone interested in culture, nature, and a very light trek in the easygoing Himalayas. Initially, this tour will take you through the best trekking routes and sights around the valley rim of Kathmandu and gradually towards one of the best spots in Pokhara to glance over the whole Himalayan Range that you see from the Annapurna area.

First, you will experience the breathtaking views of the Himalayas from the Summit Village Lodge in Lakhuri Banjyang and Haatiban Resort in Hattiban located only an hour drive away from Kathmandu. These locations offer an exquisite 270-degree view of the Kathmandu valley and beyond. Serenity, lush green gardens, independent cottages, sunshine, and hospitality are their forte. This tour offers the best-hiking destinations close to Kathmandu, along with a chance to experience the rich culture of Brahmin, Chettri, and Tamang communities. 

Next, you will start your Pokhara journey with a splendid White Water Rafting in Trishuli River for approximately 2 hours. You will be using Hana No Ie Resort (House of Flower in the Japanese language) at Astam Kot while in Pokhara. The concept of agro-tourism and scenic views of the Himalayan ranges is the specialty of this resort. At the end of this trip, you can enjoy Asia's richest wildlife Jungle Safari in Chitwan, where you get to experience the natural wildlife and witness the One-horned Rhino that only Nepal possesses. Overall, this combination of Nature, Culture, Wildlife, Outdoor Activities, and Lifestyle are sure to make your journey a once in a lifetime.   • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

    Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a representative from Himalayan Sherpa Adventure will greet you and help drop you off at the designated hotel. You will receive a short briefing about the tour in the afternoon, followed by a complimentary welcome dinner with your guides. Overnight at Hotel Mulberry, Thamel in Kathmandu. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swoyambhunath Stupa (1,400 m)

    After breakfast and a quick briefing on the itinerary, you will begin the day with a Kathmandu City Sightseeing. Kathmandu Durbar Square consists of multiple old Pagoda temples and palaces, where former kings of Nepal were crowned, hence being the historic seat of the Nepalese Royalty. Pashupatinath is a holy pilgrimage site for Hindu people across Southern Asia and one of the most famous Hindu temples in the world built by the Lichchhavi King Supuspadeva in 465-500 AD. This Shiva temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati River and is also a cremation site for the Hindu people. More than 2000 years old, Swayambhunath is a glorious Buddhist Stupa located three kilometers west of Kathmandu city. The stupa contains a medley of small Stupas and Pagoda temples, which are highly respected and visited daily by many Buddhist people. The stupa is also well known as the monkey temple because of the many harmless monkeys you can see around the hill while exploring the stupa. Overnight at Hotel Mulberry, Thamel in Kathmandu.   • Day 3 – Drive to Dungen Village and explore Lakhuri Bhanjyang (2,000 m) 2 hours walk

    After breakfast, you will take a 50 minutes drive to Dungen village from the hotel and ascend for an easy 2 hours walk to the Summit Village Resort in Lhakuri Banjyang through the fine green forest. The beautiful walk to the resort offers a scenic view of Kathmandu valley. Lakhuri Bhanjyang, which lies perched atop the pristine hill of Pokhari Thumko, located at an altitude of 2000 m, is a vantage point that commands panoramic views of the snowy mountain peaks and the valley below. A perfect, quick getaway! On the lush forested slopes of the southeastern hills of Kathmandu, perched upon the Risal Danda, Summit Village Lodge is an exquisite traditional style establishment. Enjoy a glass of wine or a hot cup of tea and dissolve in the peace that surrounds you as you sit at the restaurant atop Lakhuri Bhanjyang, watching frenzied Kathmandu in the distance. You can enjoy an evening walk through the villages and meet the locals going about their daily lives. Overnight at the Summit Village Lodge. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 4 – Day sightseeing in Kirtipur (1,852 m) 30-minutes walk

    After breakfast, you will slowly descend to Dunge village for sightseeing in Kirtipur– an ancient Newar township that resides on the southwestern hilltop of Kathmandu. When translated, “Kirti” means Glory and “Pur” means City in the Sanskrit language. This city has a history that dates from 1099 AD. Here we can see how the locals have still preserved one of the oldest cities of Nepal with their live culture, language and rituals present even to this day. After sightseeing, you will have lunch at Kirtipur and drive another 20 minutes to Bansbari from where you take a nice walk through the fine forest for about one hour to the Hattiban Resort. Enjoy the overnight stay in this excellent resort with the magnificent view of the Himalayas and Kathmandu and Kirtipur beneath your foot. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 5 – Walk to Champadevi (2,285 m) 5-hours hike

    After breakfast, you will start with an easy day hike to Champadevi located south of Kathmandu city, which is one of the best hikes along the valley. The trail takes you along the local villages and monastery. The hike offers great views of the valley and mountains beyond. Many locals gather at the top of the sacred hill to offer their prayers. The trail is light and easy, with lots of birds in sight as you walk by the pine-forested lands and vibrant landscapes. When you reach the top of the hill, you will be awestruck by the beautiful views of the mountains extending from Manaslu in the West to the Eastern Himalayas. Then you will descend back to Hattiban Resort for a lavish lunch and an overnight stay. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 6 – Summit River Lodge 4-hours drive

    After breakfast, you will descend to Bansbari and take 4 hours to drive heading towards the starting point of rafting called Fishling, located on the bank of Trishuli River. The exciting White Water River Rafting in Trishuli River lasts for about 2 hours, after which you reach Kurintar at the end where. Overnight at Summit River Lodge in Kurintar. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 7 – Drive to Pokhara from Kurintar (800 m) 40-mins walk and 4-hours drive

    After breakfast, you will take a 40 minutes walk to the Arniko highway from where you can catch a ride to Pokhara. Upon checking-in at the hotel and taking a refreshing break, your tour leader will guide you around the city to enjoy the visit of Phewa Taal (lake), Davis Fall, and Varahi Mandir (Hindu temple) situated in the middle of the lake via boating. You will spend the day in this touristic hub where many foreigners come to relax and unwind. Overnight at Mount Kailash Resort in Pokhara. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 8 – Drive to Milan Chowk and trek to Astam Kot (1,400m m) 2 walking hours

    After breakfast, you take the coach bus for 20 minutes and start walking to the Freedom Stupa which takes approximately 3 hours back and forth. After the trip, you can lunch by the Lakeside and drive to Milan Chowk. You will ascend for 2 hours from Milan Chowk to Astam Kot for the overnight stay in the Japanese resort Hana No Ie. All rooms in this lodge face the Annapurna Range, including Machha-puchhare (Fish-tail) and also Gachok-lhachok valley, which gives you the feeling of being in the lap of the great Himalayas. The resort is constructed using mainly natural materials like stone, wood, coconut fiber, mud, and beeswax. The walls are made up of mud, which is a traditional Nepali style. The fabrics used to make the curtains and bed covers are naturally dyed and handwoven. These materials and traditional lifestyle make up for a relaxing and environmentally friendly atmosphere. Overnight at Hana No Ie. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 9 – Drive to Pokhara (800 m) 5 walking hours

    After breakfast, you have an easy flat trail with a short ascent just before reaching Hyanja Kot. You will gradually ascend to Dhampus and stop for lunch. After lunch you take an easy ascend to the Australian Base Camp elevated at 1920 meters. Once you indulge in the beautiful views of the mountains and local lifestyle, you descend back down to Kande and catch the coach bus for a drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at Mt. Kailash Resort in Pokhara. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 10 – Drive to Chitwan from Pokhara (415 m) 6 driving hours

    After breakfast, you will take a 6 hours drive to Chitwan. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a delicious lunch at Green Park Resort– one of the finest resorts available. After lunch, the Nature Guide of the resort will lead you for the Jungle exploration to enjoy the sightseeing of wild animals in the jungle. Overnight at the Green Park Resort in Chitwan. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 11 – Full Day Safari activities in Chitwan National Park (415 m)

    After breakfast, you will start the Chitwan Safari with bird watching in the early morning and later Jeep Safari in the jungle. After lunch, you can take an elephant ride and canoe in the Narayani river in the evening, which will be followed by a Tharu cultural program before dinner. Overnight at the Green Park Resort in Chitwan. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 12 – Drive to Kathmandu from Chitwan (1,400 m)

    After breakfast, you will head back towards Kathmandu which will take approximately 6-7 hours drive. Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, you can enjoy the free time to explore the streets of Thamel where you can find many small boutiques, handicrafts, and local shops to buy souvenirs. Overnight at Hotel Mulberry, Thamel in Kathmandu. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day – 13 Final Departure or Join another tour/trek

    After breakfast, you will have time to pack your luggage and belongings. Our agents will help escort you to the airport 3 hours before your departure time.
