Through this tour, you will get to explore the diverse traditional life of the Himalayan people living in Nepal.

Muktinath Pilgrimage Tour is not only limited for the devotees, but also for those who would like to indulge in the spectacular landscapes of Mustang– the last forbidden kingdom. The unique geographical structure of Mustang comprises highlands and lowlands with plains, which makes it a perfect location for trekking and mountain cycling. Due to the scenic views, this tour is also a superb selection for photographers who enjoy the landscape of Lower Mustang, the crystal clear lakes, sacred Tibetan Monasteries, Hindu Temples, and portrait photography while traveling through the beautiful ancient villages and interacting with the locals of Mustang.

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

    Upon arrival in the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a representative from Himalayan Sherpa Adventure will greet you and help drop you off at the designated hotel. You will receive a short briefing about the tour in the afternoon, followed by a complimentary welcome dinner with your guides. Overnight at Hotel Mulberry, Thamel in Kathmandu. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 2 - Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (827 m) 6 hours drive

    After breakfast and a quick briefing on the itinerary, you will begin the day with a 5-6 hours drive to Pokhara. Another alternative means of transportation besides driving would be flying to Pokhara, taking approximately 25 minutes. After arriving at Pokhara, you will check-in at the resort and have a chance to freely walk around the famous Fewa Lake and explore the city of Pokhara– the city of breathtaking lakes, beautiful Himalayan ranges, and one of the most popular tourist destinations outside Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Mount Kailash Resort in Pokhara. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 3 – Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom (2,643 m) 25-minutes flight, and drive to Muktinath (3,710 m) 1-hour drive

    Since the flight from Pokhara to Jomsom takes place first thing in the morning, you will drive to the airport right after breakfast and take a 25-minutes scenic flight to Jomsom. Here, you can witness some of the most spectacular views of the Annapurna region ranges and the overview of the hills. After arriving at Jomsom, you will drive to Muktinath temple via the Kagbeni route through a picturesque off-road way. Muktinath, famous amongst the Hindu and Buddhist people, consists of 2 Kunda (Salvation pond) water ponds– Laxmi Kunda and Saraswati Kunda, known to heal every lifeless corner of our heart. Visitors run across the 108 taps (Muktidhara) to be exempt from their sins (open between 7 am-12 pm and 1-7 pm). The Jwala Mai Temple that resides below the Muktinath temple also holds religious importance for their three eternal flames– Holy flame from soil, rock, and water, mainly supported by natural gas. Once the tour is complete, you will drive back to Jomsom with magnificent views of the Kali Gandaki River, Nilgiri Mountains, monasteries, landscapes, and the local lifestyle of the Mustang inhabitants.   • Day 4 – Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (827 m) 25-minutes flight

    After breakfast, you will fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom and check-in at the resort. Your Pokhara tour will begin with a visit to Phewa Taal (lake), Davis Fall, and Varahi Mandir (Hindu temple) situated in the middle of the lake that is accessible via pleasant boating. Once the tour is over, you can spend the day in this touristic hub where many foreigners come to relax and unwind. Overnight at Mount Kailash Resort in Pokhara. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 5 – Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,400 m) 30-minutes flight

    After breakfast, you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and morning views of the mountains. You will fly back to Kathmandu and start your Kathmandu city tour. You will begin a sightseeing tour around the historical Patan Durbar Square built by the Kirat Dynasty in the 3rd century BC. During your visit here, you will witness beautiful paintings, handicrafts, and arts that represent the city of Patan which also carries the cultures and customs from traditions going back to 3,000 years ago. Among arts, you will see the amazing and preserved architects, temples, statues, and over 1,200 monuments who hold a high value to the Buddhist and Hindu people residing in Nepal. En route to Kathmandu City, you will stop by the Swoyambhunath Stupa. More than 2000 years old, Swayambhunath is a glorious Buddhist Stupa located three kilometers west of Kathmandu city. The stupa contains a medley of small Stupas and Pagoda temples, which is highly respected and visited on a daily basis by many Buddhist people. Popularly known as the “Monkey Temple” because of the heavy population of Monkeys found in the hills, you can see many harmless monkeys while exploring the stupa. However, you are advised to be wary of your belongings as the monkeys may snatch them if found accessible. Upon the completion of the sightseeing tour, you will check-in at your hotel and have free time to explore the city for the rest of the day. Overnight at Hotel Mulberry, Thamel in Kathmandu.   • Day - 6 Final Departure or Join another tour/trek

    After breakfast, you will have time to pack your luggage and belongings. Our agents will help escort you to the airport 3 hours before your departure time.
