Some highlights of this tour are yoga classes, mountain flight viewing the Himalayas of several peaks from the Annapurna range, sightseeing around two amazing cities: Kathmandu and Pokhara, and spectacular views of sunrise and sunset in Sarangkot and Nagarkot.

 

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

    Upon arrival in the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a representative from Himalayan Sherpa Adventure will greet you and help drop you off at the designated hotel. You will receive a short briefing about the tour in the afternoon, followed by a complimentary welcome dinner with your guides. Overnight at Hotel Mulberry, Thamel in Kathmandu. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 2 - Yoga class and Kathmandu City to Nagarkot Tour (2,195 m) 2 hours walk

    You will start the day with your first yoga class where you will get to know the yoga instructor. Once the yoga session is over, you can freshen up and grab breakfast. You will start the day with a sightseeing program to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath. First, you will make a quick visit to Bouddhanath Stupa– one of the biggest stupas in the world. Then, you will head towards Pashupatinath– a holy pilgrimage site for Hindu people across southern Asia that is one of the famous Hindu Temples in the world built by the Lichchhavi King Supuspadeva in 465- 500 AD. This Shiva temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati River and is also a cremation site for the Hindus. Later, you will drive to Bhaktapur– an irresistible city with an undeniably authentic local lifestyle preserved over centuries of isolation from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city. In this tour, you will get to witness the Golden Gate, water sprouts, Nyota-Pola temple, and the famous 55 Window Palace. This collection of destinations will make you admire the ancient artifacts and culture that are still running over the centuries and the ruling period of different dynasties. Next, you will drive to Nagarkot– our final destination located 32 km east of Kathmandu that is over 2000 years old. Well known for their scenic destinations and sunrise views of the Himalayas, Nagarkot falls under one of the top tourist attractions. Upon arrival, you will receive another yoga class with a complimenting view of the mountains during the sunset hour. Overnight at Club Himalaya in Nagarkot. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 3 - Yoga class and Nagarkot to Kathmandu City tour (1,400 m) 3 hours walk

    Since Nagarkot is widely known for its sunrise views of the glorious mountains and the valley, you can wake up early in the morning to witness the beauty of the Himalayan dawn. Today, you will begin your second yoga class while viewing the glorious snow-capped mountains, sunrise, and the beautiful valley below. After the class and breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu and begin a sightseeing tour around the historical Patan Durbar Square which was built by the Kirat Dynasty in the 3rd century BC. During your visit here, you will witness beautiful paintings, handicrafts, and arts that represent the city of Patan which also carries the cultures and customs from traditions going back to 3,000 years ago. Among arts, you will see the amazing and preserved architects, temples, statues, and over 1,200 monuments that hold a high value to the Buddhist and Hindu people residing in Nepal. Your next stop will be Swoyambhunath Stupa, a 2000 years old Buddhist Stupa located three kilometers west of Kathmandu, contains a medley of small Stupas and Pagoda temples, which is highly respected and visited daily by many Buddhist people. Popularly known as the “Monkey Temple”, you can see many harmless monkeys while exploring the stupa around the hills. Once you reach the hotel, you will begin an evening yoga class shortly after which you will have free time. Overnight at Hotel Mulberry, Thamel in Kathmandu. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 4 - Fly or drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (827 m) 6 hours drive/ 25 minutes flight

    Upon completion of our morning yoga class and after breakfast, we will start our journey to another beautiful and scenic city of Pokhara. We will start the day with a 5-6 hours drive to Pokhara. Another alternative for driving would be flying to Pokhara taking approximately 25 minutes. You can modify the itinerary based on your preference. Either way, we will arrive at Pokhara– the city of Lakes, beautiful Himalayan ranges, and one of the most popular tourist destinations outside Kathmandu Valley. After reaching Pokhara, we will check-in at the resort and have a chance to walk around Fewa Lake and explore the city of Pokhara. Overnight at Mount Kailash Resort in Pokhara. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 5 - Yoga in Sarangkot and Sightseeing in Pokhara City (1,600 m) 25 minutes drive

    You will start the morning with a short 25 minutes drive to the beautiful hill of Sarangkot towering at an altitude of 1,600 m, showcasing the scenic views of the lake, hills, and the lifestyle of the locals living in Pokhara. Upon arrival, you will begin the morning yoga class with a spectacular view of the Himalayas and snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna range such as Annapurna, Fishtail- Machhapuchhare, and Dhaulagiri. Being able to practice yoga at such a popular viewing point in Pokhara is truly a captivating moment. Once the class is over, you will head back to the hotel to grab breakfast. After taking a refreshing break, your tour leader will guide you around the city to enjoy the visit of Phewa Taal (lake), Davis Fall, and Varahi Mandir (Hindu temple) situated in the middle of the lake via boating. You will spend the day in this tourist hub where many foreigners come to relax and unwind. Overnight at Mount Kailash Resort in Pokhara. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day 6 - Fly or drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,400 m) 6 hours drive/ 25 minutes flight

    After a relaxing morning yoga class and a hearty breakfast, depending on your preference, you will fly/drive back to Kathmandu. You can either opt for a 5-6 hours drive or a 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu. Upon arriving at Kathmandu, you will check-in at the hotel and have free time for the rest of the day. You can take this free time to explore the streets of Thamel where you can find many small boutiques, handicrafts, and local shops to buy souvenirs. Overnight at Hotel Mulberry, Thamel in Kathmandu. Bed and breakfast included.

  • Day - 7 Final Departure or Join another tour/trek

    After breakfast, you will have time to pack your luggage and belongings. Our agents will help escort you to the airport 3 hours before your departure time.
